Day 1: Departing from Kampala to Queen Elizabeth NP

Early morning move out of Kampala before traffic begins as we launch our safari. Make a stop at the equator for coffee and videos. Before you enter the escarpment with spectacular endless views over the Queen Elizabeth National Park, proceed through villages with cultivated areas until the lush green tea estates in a rich green belt. Dinner and overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge

Day 2: Game drive and boat cruise

The second day of our Queen Elizabeth safari starts with an early game drive that introduces us to different wildlife, such as elephants, buffaloes, big cats, tigers, leopards, warthogs, hyenas, Antelopes, and many other species that live in this park. Particularly our version of storks in the wetland spots has a rich bird life as we hit the Flamingoes in the salt lakes at Kasenyi village walk in fishing villages and back for lunch as we get ready for 3pm and get ready for the Classic highlights on the 2hrs Boat cruise on the popular Kazinga channel 36kms connecting Lake George-lake Edward. Kazinga channel is popular with its scenic drive as well as the largest school of  Hippopotamuses . You will also enjoy viewing closely large number of water birds like: pink backed pelicans, pied and malachite kingfishers, saddle billed stork among others. Dinner and overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge

Day 3: Chimpanzee tracking and game viewing

Today is the Chimpanzee tracking day in the ever green forests of Kyambura gorge. After your breakfast, your driver guide will transfer you to the briefing point before the chimp trek. The experienced ranger guide will take you through a briefing on what to expect and how to conduct yourself in the forest.

After the briefing, you will start the hike through the tropical forest for an unforgettable and rewarding experience in search of man’s closest relatives the Chimpanzees. You are allowed 1 hour in their presence after locating them. After we ascend out where we ill meet our driver guide who will dive you back to the lodge for lunch. After lunch we go for evening game drive in Kasenyi in search for moire game like lions, leopards, buffaloes, warthogs, topis ,mention but a few. Dinner and overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge

Day 4: Transfer to Bwindi

We drive through southern sunny savannah grasslands after breakfast as we head to the southern part of the park-Ishasha, the southern part of the Queen Elizabeth National Park that hosts a large range of wildlife (this is a fabulous area in which to see the lions draped from the trees and nowhere in Africa do you stand a better chance of seeing this in the large low limbed fig tree of ishasha ).After the game drive we proceed to Bwindi Impenetrable forest national park. Check in our lodge for a chilling evening as we rest and relax. Dinner and overnight at Silverback Lodge

Day 5: Gorilla tracking

At 7:45 a.m. you can have an early morning breakfast and travel to the headquarters of the Park to join other trackers in a briefing on the rules of gorilla trekking. With your guides, you will be trekking through dense creepers and undergrowth to find the Gorillas, which can take you 1-8 hours. The steeply forested landscape is extremely dense, but crossed by numerous animal trails that allow tourists to access it. You’ll have to hang with the Gorillas for one hour observing the gentle giants moving slowly in the forest while the young ones play on the tree branches. After we return back to the park headquarters for the final celebrations. The driver will now take you back to the lodge for refreshments and some rest.

In the evening you can opt for a community walk among the Batwa people who used to live in the Bwindi forest before it was gazetted as a National Park and learn about their life and culture as a forest people. Dinner and overnight at Silverback Lodge

Day 6: Transfer to Lake Buyonyi

We will take a scenic drive to Lake Bunyonyi after breakfast, taking you through the beautiful landscape of rolling hills with terraced scenery.

A quick drive to the beautiful  Bunyonyi Lake where, with its fresh water, bilharzia-free and beautiful scenery, we can relax and enjoy some reflective time. Dinner and overnight at Acadia Cottages

Day 7: Departure

Have breakfast, and have the last glance of the stunning landscape, you could also have a nature walk around the area. Then drive to Kampala stopping in Mbarara town for lunch. You will arrive in Kampala in the evening which marks the end of your tour around the beautiful lake Bunyonyi.
