Lake Mburo“Whispers of the Wild” is one of the most serene national parks endowed with the largest herd of Zebras amongst all Ugandan National Parks. It’s the only Park in Uganda where you can embark on a horseback safari – riding the horse while viewing wildlife. Other unique alternatives include bush biking and walking Safari all besides the usual Game drive.

Day1: Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park

Pick up from Entebbe airport, your hotel or any other agreed place in Kampala / Entebbe in the morning and drive to Lake Mburo National park. The park is the smallest of Uganda’s savannah national parks and underlain by ancient Precambrian metamorphic rocks which date back more than 500 million years.
On your journey, you will make a stopover at the equator in a place called Kayabwe and witness the experiment and take photos for remembrance. Proceed to Lake Mburo arriving mid morning. Check in to the lodge and enjoy lunch. You will conduct an evening game drive and later return to your lodge for relaxation at Mihingo.
Mihingo Lodge is situated on a series of rock out crops on the boundary of the park with views of Lake Opeta. Each of the accommodations is very private and beautifully sited. The lodge has a gorgeous infinity pool where the dining room overlooks a man-made waterhole that draws in game to include on occasions Eland antelope.

Day 2:Full Day in Lake Mburo
Early morning, head out for Bush Biking. Do not forget to carry your camera in order to keep all your memories forever intact and also to ensure not to miss out a detail on your amazing trip. Depending on how long you would like this activity to last, you could also choose to conduct an optional walking safari in the park.
Return to the lodge for lunch and later go for a relaxing and experiential boat cruise on the lake. Return in the evening to prepare for dinner.

Day 3: Lake Mburo National Park to Entebbe
You will have a morning game drive to further explore the park. After the game drive you will embark on your journey back to Kampala. En route you will pass the equator where you will have a coffee break and amazing pictures.
