2 day Ngorongoro Crater and Lake Manyara
2 day Ngorongoro Crater and Lake Manyara safari is a short but much rewarding Tanzania safari. Descend to the world’s largest broken caldera for the most exciting wildlife safari moments.
Day 1 – Arusha – Ngorongoro crater
Meet our professional tour guide/driver in Arusha town, who will deliver a short safari briefing. After we drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation area. Have clearance at the park gates then enter in to the conservation area. We have brief stop at the crater view point before we continue with our drive to the crater entry point. we will descend over 600 meters into the Ngorongoro crater to view wildlife for an full day game drive. We will search for different animal species that are inhabited at the crater like wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, African elephants, Lions, Leopards, gazelles, impala, hyena and many more
We will visit Lake Magadi, a large but shallow alkaline lake in the southwestern corner, which is one of the main features of the crater. After the game drive we ascend out of the crater and drive back to our lodge for refreshments, dinner and overnight.
Day 2 – Ngorongoro Crater – Lake Manyara National Park – Arusha
After breakfast and with picnic lunch in hand, we transfer to the Lake Manyara National Park.
We head into the Lake Manyara National Park for a morning game drive. This national park is one of Tanzania’s most dramatically located wildlife areas, consisting of a massive, but shallow, soda lake (covering two-thirds of the park), located at the foot of the Great Rift Valley’s western escarpment. We enjoy half day game drive as we look for different animals like: elephants, tree-climbing lions, Hyenas, Zebras, baboons, Impala, gazelles, hippos, giraffes and many more. as well as large flocks of flamingos attracted by the algae in the lake. After the game drive we travel back to Arusha where we will end our 2 day Ngorongoro Crater and Lake Manyara.
